“Advice from Atos
Atos Healthcare can give telephone advice to clinicians on medical matters relating to:
- certification – such as completion of certificates and reports
- disability benefits.
They are only able to offer general advice and cannot discuss individual cases of people who are being assessed for benefit. This advice service is strictly for healthcare professionals.
Atos Healthcare can also provide more formal educational sessions to clinicians by prior arrangement.

This is because the ICO has forced DWP to publish contract etc. details for Atos Origin.
They however have not actively promoted the details, just left it there to be found.
FOI request for name of company that undertakes Independent Tier Complaints for Atos refused has anyone any proof who this company is,or any advice on how to find out.
I would just like to give my support to your cause, I know many friends who have been treated appalingly by Atos Healthcare and the DWP, the people need to complain as much as possible, target MPs, Minister’s, the DWP with mass email or letter’s, keep up the great work I am putting your site details up on my blog links section on my site.

Just out of stupidity…
Atos Origin is an IT company. IT also stands for Independent Tier (IT). Atos Origin has two companies with similar names.
Perhaps one deals with the IT side of things? We all know it is probably just a business division sorting the stuff out. Then again it could be… WYMAN DILLON RESEARCH who does the feedback for Atos Origin. They claim DWP under their belt.

OK, probably nothing, but 10 years relationship cannot be overlooked.
Could try forcing their hand by saying that if they refuse it will be your opinion that the independent tier are heavily related with ATOS HEALTHCARE, DWP or the government of the day. Use ATOS & DWP words against them it is hard to denounce their own wording.
@work programme ATOS also have a holding company registered to the same address as that on the bottom of their paper when claimants are told to contact them about been interrogated. Plus a list of ATOS company’s registered at the same address.

I suspect this company are part of the ATOS empire even though the address is different, mainly because such a large company like ATOS would not allow its name to be used by anyone else.

Could the ESA WCA system run by Atos Healthcare withstand the probings of a Judicial Review, I do not believe it could.
To me it is obvious the Decision Making has been sub delegated to Atos, even Professor Harrington said the DM’s were rubber stamping the Atos HCP’s decisions.
Rubber Stamping the Decisions is not , by definition “making the decisions” the Secretary of State is in breach of his powers , in which He is obliged to MAKE the decisions through his legally appointed DM’s.
If a Judicial Review established the decisions were made by a third party they would become null and void , this would put the DWP and the Government in a precarious position.
Lets hope Justice is seen to be done.
