Armchair Army Virtual Protest Against Benefit Cuts – April 14th

We the Armchair Army in conjuntion with the Benefit Claimants Fight back group fully support the “3rd National Day of Protest Against Benefits Cuts” Event.

Why should millions of people suffer because of cuts to housing, disability, sickness and welfare benefits while the guilty, the bankers and the rich, enjoy extravagant lifestyles under the coalition government.

Lucrative contracts to companies such as Atos Origin and A4e mea…n that some legitimate claimants are being forced to undergo unnecessary reassessments and have benefits cut or even stopped while still being unfit for work.

The Government need to be informed that we will not stand for these obscene cuts and we will continue to oppose them through the Armchair Army group.

Our intentions are to bombard the media and the politions with letters protesting against these cuts which will destroy many of our lives.

We will provide draft letters which you can either use or edit to voice your individual concerns. E-mail addresses will be posted on the day.

If you like the idea please share with your friends too. I bet there are nearly as many people who agree with the outcry against this government who need to express their disgust at what they are imposing.
