Atos Origin have £300 million contract with the Con-dem Government to continue carrying out ‘work capability assessments’.

It is claimed assessments are to test what people can do rather than what they can’t. The real purpose is to strip benefits from as many people as possible.

This testing system has already led to people with terminal illnesses and severe medical conditions being declared fit for work and having benefits cut. GP’s are ignored in favour of decisions made by Atos Origin’s computer.

Plans announced for the scrapping of Disability Living Allowance have also revealed that this intrusive testing is likely to be extended to everyone on some form of disability or health related benefit.

To date around 40% of appeals against Atos Origin’s decisions have been successful.

Atos have now extended their harassment of sick and disabled by using legal threats to silence websites which have been critical of them: http://johnnyvoid.wordpress.com/2011/08/22/atos-origin-vs-the-internet-stop-atos-censorsing-the-web/

If you’d said Egypt & Tunisia I’d have agreed, but Libya is hardly about people power, it’s a distinctly unhumanitarian NATO (acting as a US proxy) operation to install a puppet government and secure oil supplies and strategic dominance in the region.

How nice – one of the lowlives at the helm of all of this has himself a lovely little manor house. I hope he likes hot weather, because when he pops his clogs, it’s going to be very toasty warm where he’s going… There’s going to be a lot of desperate explaining being done at the Pearly Gates, when this lot fall off their respective perches!

It’s true – my dad has Emphysema, which is terminal – yes, it will eventually kill him. He can barely walk a few yards, it’s getting worse each year, yet he has been put into the Work Related Activity Group – for people who are expected/likely to recover from their condition, and return to work! What a joke! And it should be doctors ONLY, doing any assessments and medical reports on patients, not nurses!

8yrs ago I suffered a femoral anuerism. I lost six pints of blood while my mother held my hands and watched me die. Someow my life was saved. I took six months recovering from a major stroke, my prgnosias was that I would not walk again. With the help of a zimmerframe I battled on. My movement is impeaired, luckily I don’t need a wheelchar. Without givimg me the oppurtinorty to state my case, I was told I didn’t need to be present. I left assuming I had won.Two days later a. Letter arrived telling me that, although I had not the chance to put my case forward, I had lost. My only option is to apply for a setaside. This I.have down, my name is not Cameron or Osbourne, so why do I bother? Fellow people I wish you well but don’t depend on a system of blue -blooded idiots who look after them selves, Love to free thinking people who know the score,,,Kevinxx
