Poole Protest Against Benefit Cuts – April 14th

April 10, 2011

Thursday, April 14 · 12:00pm – 2:00pm
Outside Poole Jobcentre

14th is the National Day of Protest Against Benefit Cuts. There will be demos all around the country and it’s about time we had something here! Dorset may be relatively affluent in places but it has high unemployment and low wages. Yet the government wants to cut the benefits because it thinks we are all scroungers. It can’t believe that disabled people are really disabled, especially if they’re been so for longer than 5 years. If you’re unemployed then you’re feckless and lazy and you should be punished.

It’s time to show them this isn’t true. That we won’t stand for their cuts and their labelling and their pointless reassessments.
Join us in protest outside the Jobcentre on Dear Hay Lane and let’s make our voices heard!
